Who would
say such a thing? She turned off the radio and slapped the table. That a
whole bunch of the stars up there died a long time ago and their light is
just now reaching us. Although it was daylight she pulled back the gauzy
curtain and looked up at the sky. How can they be so sure after just
scribbling some numbers on a scrap of paper? To say that the heavens are just
a big graveyard after the President of the United States called space the
final frontier is just disrespectful. Our one hope. Why it’s nothing but
meanness and spite. |
