Watching from
the Sidelines
Bradley Hoge I will sweat until I am a puddle, there is nothing more for me to do than to simply become one with the moisture of the soil, to nurture the algae binding grains of sand, dissolve the organic into humic acid, lower the pH and reconstitute the earth. There is nothing more a parent can do than to dissipate into vapor, contribute to humidity, become mirage of water on horizon. There is nothing more for a father than the taste of salt on lip, the glint of sun, condensation of sky onto skin, transformation of skin to dust, of dust to nebula, nebulae into new worlds. |
